Job summary

Oaklawn is seeking a Relief Supervisor RN to provide professional nursing care and supervise the nursing patient care team. You will coordinate with the CNO and other disciplines to assure high-quality patient care during your shift.

Responsibilities include assessments, care planning, documentation, and adherence to infection prevention standards. You will participate in performance improvement and staff development activities.

Qualifications

• BSN or specialty certification in nursing preferred.
• Three (3) years clinical experience preferred.
• Clear oral expression; able to communicate clearly in writing and speech.
• Proficient with EMR systems and nursing technology.

Responsibilities

• Provides professional nursing care and supervises patient care teams.
• Assesses patients and updates plans of care in collaboration with the patient.
• Documents patient care and tracks progress using hospital systems.
• Ensures infection prevention standards and uses evidence-based practice.
• Participates in unit-based performance improvement and staff meetings.
