Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Full-time Food Service Associate at the Burnet Campus in the Food Services department. Shift is day, 40 hours per week, with every other weekend and holiday rotation. Starting pay ranges from $16.75 to $20.27 per hour, based on experience and equity.

You will provide excellent customer service, operate the POS, stock stations, and support multiple food service areas to help deliver safe, high-quality meals for patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to patients, families, visitors, and employees
• Operate the POS system and accurately process cash, credit card, and mobile transactions
• Support all retail café operations as assigned
• Stock and replenish condiments, beverages, snacks, supplies, and retail merchandise
• Assist with coffee service, salad bar, deli, pizza, Starbucks, mobile ordering, and other food service areas
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of service areas, dining spaces, equipment, and workstations
• Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Support peak meal periods by assisting in various retail stations as operational needs require
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Job Responsibilities

Schedule: 8.5-hour shifts will be scheduled between 5a-4:30p. Includes an every other weekend and every other holiday rotation

• Support all retail café operations as assigned
