Job summary

South Coast Baptist College is seeking Relief Primary School Education Assistants to support Kindergarten to Primary classes in a Christ-centered school community. You will work with teachers and staff to deliver engaging learning experiences while fostering student wellbeing and independence.

The role emphasizes collaboration, positive behaviour support, and helping students flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually in a faith-based setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Education Support or equivalent qualification.
• Current Working With Children Check.
• Personal faith and commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ.
• Active participation in a church or Christian community.
• Commitment to maintaining a child-safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across Kindergarten, Pre-Primary and Primary School.
• Assist with learning resources and classroom materials.
• Encourage student engagement, wellbeing, and positive behaviour.
• Support literacy, numeracy, and general classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers to enhance student outcomes.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
