Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or 1 year experience in chemical manufacturing.
• Must pass a 10-panel drug test and TSA TWIC background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment for bleach and Chlor-Alkali products.
• Fill in for B Operator vacations/vacancies and assist plant operations as needed.
• Monitor equipment and adjust to maintain process parameters as specified.
• Perform sampling and analysis to maintain process and finished product specs.
• Inspect equipment and area and report deficiencies to the Shift Supervisor.
• Load/unload bleach, caustic, SO2 and acid tankers as required.
• Maintain the caustic dilution system and check tank levels daily.
• Complete operational logs and document safety compliance.
