Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy in Lexington, KY is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to support across stores in a dedicated footprint. You will accurately review, verify, and dispense prescriptions while delivering exceptional patient care through counseling and education.

This role offers a collaborative, patient-focused environment with central workflow to reduce admin tasks and allow more time for care, immunizations, and clinical services, plus growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current pharmacist license
• Certified Immunization Pharmacist (except Indiana)
• Retail or community pharmacy experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications with accuracy
• Deliver counseling and education to patients to support safe medication use
• Provide immunizations and clinical services where permitted by state law
• Mentor and coach pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Lead pharmacy operations in the absence of the Pharmacist in Charge
