Job summary

Meijer Pharmacy is seeking a licensed pharmacist to join our patient-centered team in a fast-paced retail setting. You will be responsible for filling prescriptions accurately, educating patients, and ensuring regulatory compliance while supporting a culture of respect and community health.

Qualifications

Pharmacist must be patient-directed and clinically oriented.
Knowledge of Meijer policies, procedures, and state/federal laws.
Immunization certification or ability to obtain (except Indiana).

Responsibilities

Fill prescriptions safely accurately.
Maintain positive relationships with patients, team members and leadership.
Hold pharmacy technicians accountable for results and mentoring.
Educate and mentor pharmacy technicians to be effective team members.
Motivate team members to perform to their highest level.
Be competent and knowledgeable of Meijer Policies and Procedures and regulations.
Communicate effectively and be an agent of change.
Prioritize workload with excellent organizational skills.
Listen to patients and resolve their needs; provide customer service.
In the absence of the pharmacist in charge, oversee pharmacy operations.
Perform and oversee clinical services, including immunizations.
