Job summary

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Relief Pharmacist to join our Cavalier, North Dakota team. You will provide expert pharmaceutical consultation, manage medication therapy, and administer immunizations in accordance with professional standards and laws.

This role supports continuity of service across the store and may require flexibility to work at nearby locations. The position requires a PharmD or MTM certification, a valid pharmacist license or ability to obtain one, current immunization

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required or ability to obtain without federal sanctions.
• PharmD degree or MTM Certification required.

• Current CPR Certification required.
• NPI Number required.

Responsibilities

• Provide best-in-class pharmaceutical consulting and patient care.
• Dispense medications and provide clinical pharmacy services.
• Lead and supervise pharmacy staff in the absence of the manager.
• Deliver immunizations as allowed by state and federal law.
• Support Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and other Thrifty White programs.

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Relief Pharmacist in #053 Cavalier, North Dakota to provide best-in-class service in all areas including: skilled professional pharmaceutical consulting, disease state management, medication therapy management, and administration of immunizations as allowed, and ensures appropriate, reliable and consistent patient care through the distribution, control and delivery of pharmaceuticals according to professional standards and state and federal law.

A few of the primary responsibilities include:

• Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
• Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
• Dispenses medications, related supplies, and provides all clinical pharmacy services.
• Leads, directs, and supervises the pharmacy staff in manager’s absence to accomplish goals.
• Leads team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
• Structures and organizes workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and providing clinical services.
• Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
• Able to maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required.
• Willing to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
• Good attendance and punctuality is required in order to fulfill the essential job functions.
