Thrifty White Pharmacy in Devils Lake, ND seeks a Relief Pharmacist to provide best-in-class service, clinical pharmacy support, immunizations as allowed, and medication therapy management while ensuring patient care meets professional standards.

You will cover store operations, dispense medications, supervise staff in the manager’s absence, and collaborate with teams to deliver consistent, high-quality care in a friendly community pharmacy setting.

Qualifications

  • Licensed pharmacist in North Dakota or able to obtain license without sanctions.
  • PharmD or MTM Certification; ACPE program certificate required.
  • Current Immunization Certification.
  • Current CPR Certification.
  • NPI Number.

Responsibilities

  • Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
  • Dispenses medications, related supplies, and provides all clinical pharmacy services.
  • Leads, directs, and supervises the pharmacy staff in manager’s absence to accomplish goals.
  • Structures and organizes workflow for efficient prescription filling and patient counseling.
  • Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
  • Willing to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
  • Good attendance and punctuality is required.

Job description

Thrifty White Pharmacy is seeking a Relief Pharmacist in #047 Devils Lake, North Dakota to provide best-in-class service in all areas including: skilled professional pharmaceutical consulting, disease state management, medication therapy management, and administration of immunizations as allowed, and ensures appropriate, reliable and consistent patient care through the distribution, control and delivery of pharmaceuticals according to professional standards and state and federal law.

A few of the primary responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service to customers by building loyalty and repeat business.
  • Champions Thrifty White programs to patients such as Ready Refill, Medication Synchronization and HealthyPackRx and assists with enrolling patients.
  • Dispenses medications, related supplies, and provides all clinical pharmacy services.
  • Leads, directs, and supervises the pharmacy staff in manager’s absence to accomplish goals.
  • Leads team by modeling, coaching, and maintaining high standards in patient service.
  • Structures and organizes workflow and systems for efficient prescription filling, patient counseling, and providing clinical services.
  • Able to learn and implement new and changing technologies on an ongoing basis.
  • Able to maintain flexibility in new or changing work roles and the modification of job responsibilities as required.
  • Willing to help anywhere in the store or nearby locations as needed.
