Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. in Glasgow, VA is seeking a Relief Operator for the 1st shift to support the manufacturing process.

You will start up machinery, operate line components, assist team members, follow safety procedures, keep the workspace clean, and participate in continuous improvement projects. Responsibilities

• Start up new and existing machinery and line operation components as needed for continuous improvement projects.
• Provide all needed assistance to other team members and production employees as necessitated.
• Follow safety procedures, standard operating procedures, and quality policies and regulations.
• Keep workspace clean and organized to maximize safety and productivity. Offer suggestions for workspace improvement.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
