Job summary

Mohawk Industries, Inc. is seeking a Relief Operator for the Glasgow, VA 2nd shift to support our manufacturing operations in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for safe operation of the compounding line, performing each position as needed, and assisting with setup and calibration of raw material feeders.

This role requires adherence to SOPs, participation in required training, and commitment to timely, in-spec product delivery; forklift operation may be required.

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of the compounding line.
• Perform each position within the compounding process.
• Provide breaks and fill in on each position when needed.
• Set up and calibrate raw material feeders to ensure proper throughput.
• Ensure a SAFE operation that produces a compound that is in spec and is delivered as needed in a timely manner.
• Attend any job-related training deemed necessary by supervision
• Follow all established standard operating procedures
• Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary
• Perform other tasks assigned by management
• Operate a powered industrial truck (PIT) as needed.
