Job summary

DFAMILK is seeking a relief operator to cover day off rotations for all operators. You will be qualified to perform packaging, ESL and aseptic tasks, including processing and batching, and must hold forklift certification.

You will record information accurately on company documents related to relief assignments and strive to maintain optimum daily productivity. Hours and days off vary according to relief needs; you must be able to work any day and any of the three shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing experience 1+ years is a must.
• Preferred batching and processing experience.
• Certification and/or License may be required during course of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide day off relief for all operators.
• Perform all packaging jobs, ESL and aseptic, including processing and batching.
• Maintain optimum productivity on a daily basis.
• Hours and days off will change according to the job you relieve; you must be able to work any day of the week and any of the three shifts.
• Relief assignments to be determined based upon scheduling needs; management will schedule during weeks that may be “open.”
• Perform any other duties as designated by supervisor and/or manager.

Job description

Employee must accurately and completely record all information on company documents as they pertain to the relief assignment. Also, must be able to maintain optimum productivity on a daily basis.

Hours and days off will change according to the job you relieve. You must be able to work any day of the week and any of the three shifts. Relief assignments to be determined based upon scheduling needs. Management will schedule the relief employee during weeks that may be “open.”

Also, perform any other duties as designated by supervisor and/or manager.

Requirements

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Manufacturing experience 1+ years is a must
• Preferred batching and processing experience
• Certification and/or License – may be required during course of employment

• Able to follow directions and carry out instructions
