Our team members serve as the foundation for future growth, and our managers provide leadership and direction to the entire store team. The Assistant Manager gains knowledge and experience, necessary for promotion to higher management positions, under the guidance of experienced personnel. A well-defined training program will be provided to help you develop within our management structure. Candidates should be enthusiastic, energetic, sports-minded individuals with solid customer service backgrounds and/or educational backgrounds relevant to the industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform customer sales and service
2. Merchandise and ensure compliance with all company policies
3. Answer customer inquiries via telephone
4. Set up promotional signage
5. Enforce all company policies
6. Learn and provide product descriptions
7. Propose add-on sales
8. Retrieve merchandise from storage areas
9. Organize, restock, and clean merchandise on the sales floor
10. Manage store opening and closing procedures
11. Train newly hired associates
12. Direct sales and cashier associates throughout the store
13. Control inventory and enforce loss prevention policies

Requirements:

1. Must be 21 years of age or older
2. High School diploma, GED, High School Equivalency, certification, or relevant experience
3. Basic organizational and/or applicable math skills
4. Subject to E-Verify upon accepting the position
5. Ability to perform light to moderate lifting, with or without reasonable accommodation
6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills
7. Flexible scheduling availability

Additional Information:

California Pay Scale: $18.30 - $21.05/hour depending on store location
