BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is seeking a Relief Critical Care Veterinary Technician. This full-time ICU/critical care position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays. You will triage, monitor ventilator cases, place IV and advanced catheters, and mentor teammates in delivering advanced veterinary medicine.

Qualifications

• ICU/critical care veterinary technician role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Full-time position requiring night, weekend and holiday coverage.
• Commitment to high standards of patient care and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IV catheters and advanced catheters (Jugular, Central Lines, PICC).
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases.
• Collaborate with other technicians and assistants to deliver advanced medicine.
• Mentor and train other coworkers.
• Support families by reuniting patients with their pet parents.
