Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is hiring a Relief Critical Care Veterinary Technician. This full-time ICU/Critical Care Technician role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, delivering advanced patient care.

You will triage, monitor ventilator cases, place central lines, and collaborate with a team of skilled technicians. A passion for mentoring others and returning critically ill patients to their families is essential.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVC's and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases
• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents

We are hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our team. If you enjoy patient care and working in a fast-paced, challenging, interesting, and collaborative environment, this is a full-time position that requires flexibility to work nights and weekends and holidays.
