BluePearl Pet Hospital in Spring, TX is hiring a Relief Critical Care Veterinary Technician. This full-time role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays, delivering high-level nursing care in a fast-paced emergency and specialty setting.

You will triage patients, perform advanced catheter placements, monitor ventilator cases, and mentor teammates while contributing to exceptional patient and client care.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters like Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers
• Feel gratification of nursing critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents
