VCA Seaside Animal Hospital in Calabash, NC, is seeking a temporary veterinary technician/assistant to join a busy, 3-doctor practice. The role supports experienced technicians with blood draws and X-rays amid curbside operations, with potential for a permanent full-time opportunity.

Work hours align with a Monday–Friday schedule (7:30–5:30) and Saturdays (8–1); the team emphasizes dedication, learning, and a positive workplace culture in a community-friendly setting.

Qualifications

• Experience as veterinary technician or assistant.
• Able to assist with drawing blood and taking X-rays.
• Comfortable in a busy, flexible schedule and curbside service environment.

Responsabilités

• Fill in for a couple of months as needed.
• Assist technicians with blood draws and radiographs.
• Support daily clinic operations and client interactions.

VCA Seaside Animal Hospital is a progressive busy 3 doctor practice in Calabash North Carolina. We are on the boarder of North Carolina, and South Carolina. We are located in a beautiful little town that is 6 miles from Sunset Beach, and 10 miles to North Myrtle Beach. We are a hard working, dedicated team that loves to laugh, learn, and enjoy what we do.

Work schedules are flexible. We are open Monday- Friday 7:30-5:30 and Saturdays from 8-1. Job has possible opportunity to be a permanent full time job. We are working mostly curbside due to the Covid pandemic. Experienced technicians/assistants take care of drawing blood or taking X-rays. We are looking for someone to help fill in for a couple of months.
