Community Dental Care Clinic Sunnyside, WA is seeking a Relief Dental Assistant to support providers, maintain patient records, and assist with X-ray procedures in a busy clinic. This part-time, non-exempt role offers EPIC EMR exposure and opportunities to contribute to infection control and patient education.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Registration as Surgical Technologist if assisting in OR.
• Registered Dental Assistant or EFDA certification.
• Bilingual English/Spanish required at a high level.
• ALTA bilingual differential eligibility with score of 10.

Responsibilities

• Maintain patient medical records and vital signs.
• Perform complete dental X-ray procedures and store images.
• Prepare instruments and assist the provider during exams.
• Support infection control and sterilization practices.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care.
• Assist with nitrous oxide analgesia under supervision.
• Keep exam rooms organized and ensure regulatory compliance.
