Job summary

Open Sky Community Services is seeking a Relief Counselor to support individuals with mental health challenges in living independently and pursuing meaningful relationships. This role emphasizes person-centered care, safety, and creating an inspiring daily environment.

The position offers additional hourly differential in certain programs, with duties including planning, resource access, and documentation to ensure high-quality support for clients in Central Massachusetts and beyond.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record required.
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized, person-centered support plans.
• Assist individuals in accessing community resources and/or provide transportation as needed.
• Implement activities that promote skill development, community engagement, personal growth, and meaningful relationships.
• Review and complete all required documentation.
• The organization recognizes skills, location, training, and populations served in certain programs by offering an additional hourly differential.
