As a Relief Cook for CrossReach Trading Ltd., you will prepare nutritious, home‑cooked meals and provide cover when required, helping maintain high standards residents expect.
You will have professional kitchen experience, be organised and adaptable, and hold a Food Hygiene qualification. A catering qualification is advantageous and PVG/SSSC checks are required.
As a Relief Cook, you’ll prepare nutritious, home‑cooked meals that help residents stay healthy, feel valued and enjoy mealtimes that are often the highlight of their day. Working on an as‑needed basis, you’ll provide cover when required while helping maintain the high standards residents expect.
You will have experience working in a professional kitchen and be confident preparing meals for groups of people. You’ll be organised, adaptable and able to work effectively in different situations while maintaining high standards. A Food Hygiene qualification is essential and a relevant catering qualification would be advantageous.

This post requires you to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and undertake the necessary vetting checks. You will also be required to be registered with SSSC and it is your professional responsibility to ensure that you meet the standards and criteria for registration.
