Job summary

Hopelink's DART Relief CDL Bus Driver position in Kent, WA, seeks a dependable driver to provide safe, on-time transportation on assigned routes. Current DART drivers in good standing with knowledge of 10+ routes are preferred; flexible scheduling including mornings, evenings, weekends may be required.

You will operate buses with Passenger Endorsement, communicate with dispatch, assist passengers, and maintain schedules while upholding safety and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a current DART Driver in good standing with excellent attendance and safety record.
• Must know at least 10 routes and drive all buses.
• Ability to learn or know routes in Kent or Willows.
• Flexible work schedule including mornings, afternoons, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, courteous and on-time transportation to customers in buses; adheres to traffic regulations.
• Communicate with dispatchers by radio and provide incident/accident reports.
• Assist and secure passengers, including wheelchairs and lifts.
• Maintain schedules on routes and provide information to the public about routes and transfers.
• Inspect vehicle before and after operation; ensure punctuality and dependable service.
