Job summary

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine maintenance and operation of vessel machinery and tow; ensure equipment is in good working order.
• Set watch schedules for wheelhouse and crew; ensure adherence to regulations.
• Lead safety drills, post station bills, and report injuries or incidents.
• Report anticipated crew shortages to enable timely Manning.
• Ensure compliance with company Safety Program and training requirements.
