Sweetser is hiring for the Adult Residential Unit in Saco to support individuals with mental illness on a relief per diem basis. The role emphasizes helping residents gain independent living skills, health maintenance, and community access while working as part of a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include supervising residents, supporting goal attainment, and administering medications with proper documentation.

Qualifications

• Valid state driver's license.
• Experience providing direct care or crisis intervention to adults (1 year).
• English fluency (reading, writing and speaking).
• Lived experience in mental health or substance use disorders encouraged to apply.
• High school diploma or GED.
• MHRT-I certification or eligibility to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Provide positive emotional support and supervision to residents.
• Assist residents to reach goals and improve independent living skills.
• Encourage health status through hygiene, diet, exercise, rest and coping strategies.
• Support social contact, vocational development, and access to community resources.
• Facilitate administration of medications and complete required documentation.
• Work collaboratively as a member of a team.
• Ensure quality in work and adherence to health and safety policies.
• Commitment to Sweetser's mission, vision, and values.
