Job summary

Openwork is seeking a reliable Sit-Down Forklift Operator in Canton, GA. The role focuses on safe operation of sit-down forklifts, efficient material flow, and accurate inventory handling within a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, equipment safety checks, and use of RF scanners/WMS. Candidates need a valid forklift certification, 1–2 years of experience, and the ability to work on-site full-time in Canton, GA.

Qualifications

• Valid, active Forklift Operator Certification / License is required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of proven sit-down forklift experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or digital Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Demonstrated OSHA regulations knowledge and basic mechanical aptitude for pre-shift checks.

Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down propane and electric forklifts to move, stage, load, and unload palletized materials and raw goods.
• Safely load and unload freight trailers and place stock into high-bay racking systems.
• Perform daily pre-shift forklift safety, maintenance, and operational checks.
• Use RF scanners or WMS platforms for inventory tracking and material handling.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and safe load-handling procedures at all times.
