Job summary

Noble Hearts HR Consulting & Staffing is seeking a Transportation Specialist to provide safe pupil transportation in the Kansas City area, operating company vehicles and transporting small groups of students. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and clear communication with families and dispatchers.

Flexible part-time or full-time scheduling options are available, with weekly pay and paid training. No CDL required; vehicles are provided and fuel is paid by the company.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license issued by the state of residence.
• Acceptable driving record as shown on MVRC check (Motor Vehicle Record).
• Ability to pass a company-sponsored drug screening, physical exam, and criminal background check.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write legibly, and complete required reports.
• Good judgment, problem-solving and decision-making ability.
• Ability to work independently and professionally with students, families, dispatchers, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school, appointments, and other outings as needed.
• Assist students to and from the vehicle and help them safely enter and exit the vehicle.
• Safely load, unload, and secure students during transportation.
• Escort students to their destination location when required.
• Communicate with Dispatchers regarding location, status, and updates as needed.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complete daily driving logs, incident reports, and other required documentation.
• Report vehicle maintenance issues immediately.
• Maintain the vehicle by keeping it clean and fueled.
• Follow all traffic laws, company operating procedures, dress code, and safety policies.
• Perform all job functions in a professional, reliable, and respectful manner.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
