Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver for Store #2306 at 2529 Forest Drive, Columbia, SC 29204. The starting pay is $14.46 per hour, with opportunities for accurate routes and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have a valid DOT MEC or obtain within five business days of conditional offer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.
• Must work all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Must read and speak English sufficiently for interactions and records.
• Internal Sherwin-Williams rating must meet expectations.
• Must complete HR Cloud eLearning courses required for current position.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Complete required forms.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers safely and promptly.
• Maintain the store vehicle and report repairs to supervisor.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries or complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Follow transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents related to deliveries.
• Operate cars, trucks, forklifts and related equipment.
• Perform store tasks including warehouse duties, tinting and mixing orders.
