SRS Building Products in Columbus, OH is seeking a Non-CDL Driver to ensure safe, timely delivery of building materials to job sites while providing excellent customer service. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, verify orders, load and unload materials, and operate equipment such as forklifts.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old (18 minimum for employment).
• Valid non-CDL driver’s license with a clean record (no DUIs in 3 years, no suspensions in 5 years, max 2 violations/accidents in 18 months).
• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S. (E-Verify required).
• Screenings: Must pass a drug test, background check, and hold a current DOT medical card (for vehicles 10,001 lbs+).

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and timely delivery of building materials to job sites, adhering to safety protocols and route plans.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and document maintenance needs.
• Accurately verify and manage inventory, including loading/unloading materials for correct quantities.
• Utilize forklifts safely for loading/unloading and maintain workflow efficiency.
• Engage professionally with customers on-site to deliver exemplary service.
• Maintain communication with managers and team members to resolve logistical challenges.
• Adhere to corporate and regulatory safety standards and promote a safety culture.
• Document delivery processes meticulously, including photographic evidence of deliveries.
