Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is hiring a Delivery Driver to provide timely product deliveries from local Sherwin-Williams stores to customers. You will load orders, verify accuracy, maintain vehicle safety, and deliver courteous, reliable service.

Requirements include legal work authorization, a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 70 lbs, and a willingness to work evenings/weekends. Previous delivery or retail experience is preferred, and Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs on occasion.
• Must be willing to work evenings and weekends, with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are prepared to meet customer requirements in the most efficient manner.
• Load customer orders properly on the truck.
• Ensure appropriate forms are completed.
• Load, transport, and deliver items to customers in a safe, timely manner.
• Maintain the store vehicle and alert the supervisor to repair needs.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints.
• Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules.
• Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record.
• Prepare reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Operate equipment such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
• Perform other store tasks including warehouse duties and tinting/mixing orders.
