Job summary

Teknor Apex Company seeks a maintenance technician to support a high‑reliability manufacturing environment in Fountain Inn, SC. You will install, repair, and maintain pumps, motors, gearboxes, and extruders, performing PMs and documenting results in the CMMS.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and an associate degree or equivalent experience. Candidates should be able to read schematics, work safely, and communicate effectively with the team.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED and an associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and heavy equipment service preferred.
• Willingness to learn and work with PLCs and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Champion safety protocols at all times.
• Install, maintain, and repair production assets (pumps, motors, gearboxes, extruders).
• Execute scheduled PMs and record results in CMMS.
• Support and train technicians; operate with minimal oversight.
• Verify electrical health using meters and diagnostic instruments.
• Diagnose AC/DC motors and drives to root cause.
• Work with PLCs, ladder diagrams, and basic troubleshooting.
