Job summary

Midwest Valve Services, LLC, a Novaspect company, is seeking a mechanically minded repair technician to join our team and build a long-term career.

You will repair, test, calibrate and troubleshoot industrial valves, travel as needed, and participate in safety‑conscious fieldwork using company vehicles. We offer competitive pay, generous PTO and holidays, 401(k) ESOP on day one, health benefits and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license and ability to be insured.
• DOT physical clearance required.
• Legible writing, math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Repair, testing, calibration and troubleshooting of industrial valves.
• Training will be provided.
• Verify measurements, calculate dimensions and verify tolerances.
• Complete valve repair and service reports.
• Rigging and hoisting valve and actuator components in compliance with OSHA standards.
• Travel, including overnights, as required throughout service territory via company vehicle.
• Other duties as required.

Mechanical Repair Technician Benefits:

• Starting pay: $24-34 per hour.
• Additional compensation will be paid for any travel and fieldwork.

Mechanical Repair Technician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the repair, testing, calibration and troubleshooting of industrial valves.
• Training will be provided.
• Verify measurements, calculate dimensions and verify tolerances.
• Complete valve repair and service reports.
• Rigging and hoisting valve and actuator components in compliance with OSHA standards.

Mechanical Repair Technician Qualifications and Requirements:
