Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Reliability Technician to join the Washington Works team in West Virginia. The role supports fixed and rotating equipment data, alignment, and reliability initiatives across site equipment.

You’ll work closely with the Reliability team to maintain baselines and optimize preventive maintenance. Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in maintenance, strong alignment and vibration troubleshooting skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3–5 years in maintenance/manufacturing environment.
  • Trained in alignment checks.
  • Knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel; quick to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform data/analysis on fixed/rotating equipment.
  • Complete alignment checks on equipment.
  • Collaborate with area mechanics on alignment and vibration troubleshooting.
  • Identify bad actors and coordinate with Reliability team to resolve.
  • Complete baselines on new equipment installations (projects).
  • Review PMs and suggest optimization opportunities.

This position will report directly to the Mechanical Development Tech Guardian at our Washington, WV location.The Reliability Technician role will support the site fixed/rotating equipment program and alignment for our site equipment.
