Job summary

The Chemours Company seeks a Reliability Technician to join the Washington Works team in Parkersburg, WV. You will support fixed/rotating equipment data/analysis, perform alignment checks, and collaborate with the Reliability team to optimize maintenance activities.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in maintenance/manufacturing, experience with alignment checks, and proficiency with Word/Excel. On-site role with competitive pay and benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• 3-5 years in a maintenance/manufacturing environment.
• Trained in alignment checks; knowledge of rotating and fixed equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Complete alignment checks on equipment.
• Work with area mechanics on alignment and vibration troubleshooting.
• Identify bad actors and coordinate resolution with the Reliability Team.
• Review PMs and recommend optimization opportunities to the Reliability Team.
• Serve as back up and support other Reliability technicians.
