Paycom - ATS is seeking a maintenance technician to assemble and maintain machinery in a manufacturing setting. You will troubleshoot pumps, valves, and rigging, install new equipment, and service conveyors while keeping detailed maintenance records.

The role requires reading prints/schematics, operating lift equipment, and a self-motivated approach with the ability to work shifts. Certification for forklifts may be required where applicable.

Formación

• Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Fork lift certification required if applicable.

Responsabilidades

Summary: This position is generally responsible for the assembly and maintenance of machinery in a manufacturing setting. The individual may also be called upon to dissemble machines scheduled for replacement or that must be moved to a new location. The responsibility is to provide support to various positions within the mill. The primary support areas include but are not limited to the Maintenance Department.PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:Abide by all MPC safety, general and procedural policies.Operate all designated equipment in a safe and productive manner.Troubleshoot and repair general pumps, valves, and rigging.Install new equipment and/or modifications of existing equipment.Repair mobile equipment; lift truck bobcats, etc.Service conveyor systems.Dissemble machines scheduled for replacement or that must be moved to another area.Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on equipmentKeep accurate records of work performed and all material used.Remove, repair, and install instruments, DCS components, and related equipment.Identify patterns of failures and ways to design out failures.Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment components.Prioritize work orders and emergency repairs based on equipment.Assist mill operations during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance or operational shuts.Must be willing to work on shifts and complete general maintenance work if required.Assist in the start-up of the any type of equipment.Provide support for repairing operations and electrical problems to various positions within the Mill.ABILITIES & SKILLS:Be a self-motivator, function with minimal supervision.Ability to read and use prints and schematics for troubleshooting of equipment and processes.Ability to cross train for other skills within the Maintenance Department.Able to operate mobile equipment such as lift trucks, scissor lifts and bobcats.Able to use variable testing equipment for troubleshooting.Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulics systems.Knowledge and basic maintenance of pumps, valves and hydraulic systemsREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:Highschool Diploma or Equivalent2-3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environmentMust have Fork Lift Certification if applicable.
