The Diez Group in Dearborn, MI is seeking a skilled Maintenance Tech to repair, install and dismantle machinery per blueprints and diagrams. You will troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and program FANUC/ABB robots, while coordinating with engineering and contractors.
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years’ experience, solid English communication, and proven welding and blueprint-reading skills.
The Maintenance Tech is responsible for repairing, installing or dismantling machinery and equipment according to company plans, blueprints, and other diagrams. This will be accomplished through the safe and effective use of hoists, lift trucks, hand tools, and power tools. This position also requires that the Maintenance Tech troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic problems with associated equipment. The Maintenance Tech is also responsible for repairing malfunctioning equipment, such as motors, pumps, valves, controls, and other machines.
