Marathon Petroleum in Bridgeport, WV seeks a seasoned Maintenance Diagnostics Technician to improve reliability of gas compression equipment. You will monitor engines, motors and compressors using vibration analysis, windrock analyzers and spectral tools, and help optimize preventive maintenance plans.

Responsibilities include evaluating scope/timing of maintenance, recording diagnostics, providing corrective action recommendations, calibrating equipment, and supporting field crews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with reciprocating and rotating machinery repair or diagnostics.
• Strong understanding of mechanical aspects of gas compression equipment.
• Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.

Responsibilities

• Supports evaluation of preventive maintenance scope based on equipment analysis.
• Maintains records of engine/compressor analyses and diagnostics.

This will be achieved through the active monitoring and evaluation using specialized analysis equipment.**Key Responsibilities:*** Supports the evaluation of scope and timing of preventative maintenance work based on a thorough assessment using engine/motor/compressor analysis equipment, vibration equipment, and borescopes.* Supports operation and maintenance of plant systems including gas compression equipment, control systems, auxiliary support systems and ancillary equipment.
