Job summary

Sonoco Murfreesboro is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Reliability Technician to maximize plant reliability by performing proactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis on mechanical, electrical, and automated systems. You will document all maintenance in CMMS and support safety initiatives.

The role requires strong multi-craft skills, the ability to read schematics, and experience with PLCs, welding, and machining.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience in maintenance and reliability; PLC, welding, machining a plus.
• Proficiency with CMMS and ability to read mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Understand and comply with safety policies and procedures.
• Proactively maintain, install, troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, robotic/automation, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and document activity in CMMS.
