Job summary

Boeing South Carolina is seeking a Reliability Technician to join the 787 Production Engineering team in North Charleston, SC. This role focuses on analyzing production asset downtime, upgrading assets, and applying reliability engineering practices to ensure production readiness.

You will work with mechanical, structural, electrical and controls teams, perform root cause analysis, and support producibility initiatives to minimize downtime and improve asset reliability on the 787 Dreamliner

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience in reliability or maintenance engineering.
• Experience with asset downtime analysis and data-driven improvement.
• Familiarity with CAD modeling, GD&T, PLCs and HMIs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Investigates equipment concepts, maintains drawings and config data.
• Participates in design reviews and evaluates new tech for producibility.
• Develops work statements with validated specs and requirements.
• Maintains inspection, maintenance and spares for tooling and equipment.
• Trains personnel on equipment use and maintenance procedures.
• Analyzes data to recommend disposition of equipment and tooling.
