Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking a Reliability Technician to join the 787 Production Engineering team. You will help ensure reliable production assets, analyze downtime trends and support asset upgrades to keep Dreamliner assembly flowing smoothly.

Responsibilities include design reviews, tool and equipment maintenance, and root cause analysis, with opportunities to work across mechanical, electrical and controls areas. This is a 1st shift role with relocation consideration.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Familiarity with CAD modeling, GD&T and reliability practices.
• Experience in data analytics and problem solving.
• Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs and automation concepts.

Responsibilities

• Investigates, creates and reviews equipment concepts, manages drawings and uses configuration tools.
• Participates in product design reviews and researches robotics and automation applications.
• Develops statements of work with validated specifications and prepares design/load packages.
• Maintains equipment inspection, maintenance and spares requirements and trains staff.
• Supports engineering changes by investigating problems and data.
• Assesses current condition and recommends disposition of equipment and tooling.
