Job summary

PG&E in Oakland seeks a data analytics professional to support the enterprise reliability strategy within the System Performance, Reliability and Resiliency Strategy team. You will extract, manage, and analyze operational data to inform reliability performance, risk, and strategic decisions across Electric Transmission and Distribution Engineering.

You'll design and optimize scalable data pipelines, tools, and databases, and develop automated reporting to deliver timely, accurate insights.

• Experience extracting and analyzing operational data to inform reliability decisions.
• Ability to design and implement scalable data pipelines and reporting solutions.
• Experience delivering dashboards and analytics for cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the extraction, management, and analysis of operational data to support PG&E’s enterprise reliability strategy, enabling data-driven decisions across Electric Transmission and Distribution Engineering.
• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines, tools, and databases to ensure high-quality, timely, and reliable delivery of performance data and insights.
• Develop and implement automated data processes, including data validation, cleansing, and transformation, to improve accuracy, efficiency, and repeatability of reporting.
• Deliver complex analytical products, including dashboards, models, and ad hoc analyses, that provide actionable insights into reliability performance, risk, and trends.
• Integrate predictive analytics, forecasting, and performance metrics into reporting frameworks to support proactive strategy development and execution.
