Job summary

IFF, a global leader in flavors, fragrances, food ingredients and health & biosciences, seeks an engineer to drive manufacturing excellence at the Newark site. In this onsite role, you will lead process improvements, support reliability programs, and partner with Operations to optimize performance.

You will apply Six Sigma and Lean principles, work with cross-functional teams, and ensure safety and product quality while advancing continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Experience collaborating with diverse, global teams.
• Experience driving process improvements in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Support manufacturing technology activities across the Newark facility.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost performance and asset utilization.
• Collaborate with Operations to optimize processes and uptime.
• Review maintenance requests aligned with maintenance strategies.
• Develop reliability programs to improve equipment performance.
