Job summary

Dyno Nobel, Inc. is seeking a Reliability Mechanical Engineer to provide leadership across the project lifecycle for its Graham, Kentucky TNT manufacturing facility.

The role focuses on safety, reliability, and long-term performance of mechanical systems, overseeing design assurance, construction support, commissioning, and transition to operations. You will lead mechanical reliability programs, review equipment designs for compliance, and drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of mechanical engineering experience in process industries or industrial facilities.
• Experience with static and rotating equipment, pumps, vessels, piping, and reliability of mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical integrity, reliability engineering, asset lifecycle management, and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering leadership throughout project lifecycle from design to commissioning and transition to operations.
• Lead mechanical reliability programs for fixed and rotating equipment, piping, and critical assets to improve reliability.
• Review and assure mechanical and piping design deliverables per codes and Dyno Nobel standards.
• Support the specification, selection, and installation of mechanical equipment to ensure reliability and lifecycle performance.
• Perform RCFA and develop corrective actions to improve equipment reliability.
• Develop and optimize PM, PdM, and RCM strategies; support lifecycle planning and spare parts strategies.
• Monitor MTBF, MTTR, availability, and failure trends to identify improvements; drive continuous improvement across projects.
