Job summary

Dyno Nobel in Kentucky seeks a Mechanical Engineer for Reliability and Commissioning to lead mechanical integrity programs for fixed and rotating equipment on the TNT Project. You will design, review, and implement reliability strategies and support field installation.

The role transitions to site-based engineering after commissioning, requires ASME/API knowledge, 5+ years in industrial facilities, and willingness to pass ATF background checks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years experience in industrial facilities (chemicals/explosives preferred).
• Experience with both static and rotating equipment.
• Knowledge of ASME, API, piping standards.
• Willing to undergo ATF background check to work with explosives.
• Strong maintainability and asset lifecycle understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical reliability programs for fixed and rotating equipment.
• Review and assure mechanical and piping design deliverables.
• Provide field engineering support during installation and testing.
• Support commissioning activities and mechanical completion.
• Develop preventive, predictive, and RC maintenance strategies.
