Job summary

Metric Bio is seeking a Reliability / Maintenance Manager for its Maryland site, offering a high visibility leadership role in a global biologics organization.

You will lead maintenance planning, maximize asset uptime, and mentor a team while collaborating with Facilities, Engineering, and external vendors. You will own IBM Maximo CMMS data integrity and drive improvements in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in maintenance or reliability leadership.
• Experience with CMMS, preferably IBM Maximo.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent data-driven and continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize the site’s IBM Maximo CMMS data integrity.
• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling across preventive, corrective, and predictive activities.
• Drive improvements in asset uptime and reliability.
• Manage vendors and contractors for safety, quality, and compliance.
• Develop and mentor a team of maintenance planners.
• Track key maintenance KPIs: PM completion, backlog, schedule compliance.
• Support deviations, CAPAs, change controls, audits, and inspections.

You will:

• Own and optimize the site’s IBM Maximo CMMS, ensuring accurate asset and maintenance data.
• Lead maintenance planning and scheduling across preventive, corrective, and predictive activities.
• Drive improvements in resource efficiency, equipment uptime, and reliability.
• Manage key vendors and contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.
• Lead and develop a team of maintenance planners and coordinators.
• Track and improve key maintenance KPIs, including PM completion, schedule compliance, backlog, and reliability.
• Lead reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance asset performance.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet cGMP, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Support deviations, CAPAs, change controls, audits, and inspections.
