Job summary

Celanese in Winona, MN, is seeking a skilled individual for the Maintenance and Reliability team at our pultrusion facility. The role involves performing quality maintenance, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure safe, reliable equipment operation.

You will identify hazards, follow safe procedures, and collaborate with operations and other teams to ensure smooth hand-offs and continuous improvement. Boiler and state-card licensing readiness is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical and electrical experience required.
• Prior experience in a fast-paced industrial setting preferred.
• Experience running or maintaining pultrusion equipment is a plus.
• Strong troubleshooting procedures and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to obtain boiler and unlicensed electrical state cards.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality and timely maintenance work.
• Troubleshoot with other groups to complete tasks.
• Perform and complete root cause analyses.
• Identify hazards and mitigate them.
• Follow safe work procedures and maintain a clean, orderly area.
• Prepare pre-task plans and communicate with operations for hand-offs.
• Generate improvement ideas for cost savings and reliability.
• Assist with startups for maintenance return to service.
