Your Roleat a Glance
You’llplay a vital role in our (department) teamby:
- Develop and manage maintenance schedules for down days, outages, and routine tasks.
- Coordinate predictive and preventive maintenance activities.
- Plan and coordinatemaintenancejobs and projects in collaboration with production and maintenance teams.
- Monitor SAP and CMMS systems to ensureaccuratetracking of work orders, technician workload, and equipment trends.
- Accountable for spare parts management, including kit building, warehousing, and satellite storage.
- Requisitionmaterials andadviseinventory control on requirements and usage.
- Maintain equipment information and repair files.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain CMMS documentation including drawings, lockout/tagout procedures, spare parts codes, and critical tasks.
- Generate and analyze reports (e.g., cost, delay, monthlyperformance).
- Review daily equipment inspections and ensure follow-up work orders are created and completed.
- Serve as a technical resource for maintenance supervisors.
- Assistin hiring, counseling, disciplining, andterminatingemployees whenappropriate.
- Support the development of reliability-based maintenance strategies.
- Assistin workload and schedule planning for technicians.
- Coordinate with external contractors to supplementworkforceas needed.
- Inspect contractor work to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Interact professionally with vendors andmaintaineffective working relationships.
- Maintain maintenance budget and track expenditures.
- Ensure 5S compliance and environmental/safety recordkeeping.
- Participate in safety, health, and environmental programs.
What Sets You Apart
We’relooking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred.
- Minimum 10 years in manufacturing or heavy industrial equipment, with a strong background in planning and scheduling.
- Proficient in SAP and CMMS systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents and procedures
- Solid mathematical and reasoning abilities
