Job summary

Freudenberg Performance Materials LP in Macon, GA, is seeking a Reliability & Maintenance Manager to lead and develop the maintenance team, set priorities, and coordinate activities to support safe, efficient operations on site.

The role oversees preventive maintenance, repairs, and utilities, supports capital projects, monitors equipment reliability, and drives continuous improvement to enhance plant performance and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• 5-8 years of maintenance engineering or production operations within a manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years in a leadership position with direct reports.
• Familiarity with preventive and corrective maintenance processes; knowledge of rotating equipment and PLCs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the maintenance team, setting priorities and coordinating activities to support safe, efficient operations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and upkeep of production equipment, facilities, and utilities.
• Support capital projects and maintenance planning by coordinating resources, contractors, tools, and technical requirements.
• Monitor maintenance performance, analyze equipment reliability, and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and overall plant performance.

• Preferred: experience with rotating equipment and PLCs.
