Job summary
Merchants Metals, LLC is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead predictive and preventive maintenance across our Houston plant. You will supervise front-line maintenance staff, coordinate with the Maintenance planner, EHS, Quality and Plant Engineering to improve uptime and safety while delivering measurable results.
The ideal candidate has strong CMMS skills, solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, and a track record of implementing maintenance programs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in maintenance management.
- Proven ability to develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs.
- Bilingual English & Spanish is desirable.
- Strong CMMS proficiency.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting abilities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs and drive reliability improvements.
- Lead daily maintenance activities and coordinate with frontline technicians.
- Collaborate with EHS, Quality, Plant Engineer and other teams.
- Develop, implement, and sustain standards, schedules, and safe procedures.
- Analyze CMMS data to identify opportunities and propose solutions to improve uptime.
- Coordinate spare parts and tool crib activities with relevant stakeholders.
