Job summary

ExxonMobil in Baton Rouge seeks a Reliability & Maintenance Advisor to drive asset availability and cost effectiveness. You will lead longer-range maintenance planning, turnaround selections and equipment strategies, interfacing with engineering and maintenance teams.

The role emphasizes reliability, risk management and cost control across a major refinery complex. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years in oil/gas or petrochemicals, with demonstrated ability to

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
5+ years of experience in the oil and gas / petrochemical industry or a related field.
Experience with reliability, maintenance planning or cost objectives is favorable.

Responsibilities

Drives longer-term equipment availability and cost management through development of the annual maintenance plan and turnaround/shutdown worklists for the asset.
Delivers longer-term reliability and cost objectives by addressing bad actors, developing Equipment Strategies and long-range plans.
Acts as reliability conscience for asset/business teams to ensure decisions support long-term reliability and cost objectives.
Coaches team members on risk screening, financial risk management and budget analysis for cost control.
Interfaces with Engineering, Maintenance and Technical Centers to support asset teams.
