Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Engineer to support the development, evaluation, and sustainment of aircraft systems across the acquisition life cycle. In this role, you will lead and execute R&M analyses, define program requirements, and provide technical recommendations to improve system reliability, availability, and lifecycle performance.

The R&M Engineer will develop and assess R&M Program Plans, perform reliability predictions and allocations, conduct FMEA/FMECA and risk assessments, and build Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs). You will support Reliability Control Boards (RCB) and Failure Review Boards (FRB), review Engineering Change Proposals for R&M impacts, and assist engineering teams in identifying reliability drivers and implementing design improvements.

This position also supports reliability growth and qualification testing efforts (including HALT), Integrated Vehicle Health Management System (IVHMS) and Built‑In Test (BIT) design and development, and FRACAS data collection and analysis. The successful candidate will generate clear, actionable reports and communicate findings effectively to engineering, program management, and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and evaluate Reliability & Maintainability (R&M) Program Plans and requirements for aircraft.
  • Perform R&M analyses, predictions, allocations, and calculate R&M metrics.
  • Perform R&M criticality and risk assessments, FMEA/FMECA, and Reliability Block Diagrams (RBDs).
  • Attend and support Reliability Control Board (RCB) and Failure Review Board (FRB) meetings.
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals for R&M considerations.
  • Determine key R&M metrics, identify problem areas, and assist in developing design modifications and Engineering Change Proposals.
  • Support reliability development growth testing (reliability qualification tests and HALT).
  • Collect R&M data from and populate FRACAS databases.
  • Generate various reports outlining findings and recommendations.

Required Qualifications:
