Job summary

Owens Corning is seeking a Reliability Leader for the Newark, OH manufacturing facility. This role leads the maintenance department to deliver world-class results, builds a skilled team, and advances predictive maintenance programs to meet production schedules and customer orders.

You will drive safety, develop daily work plans, utilize SAP – MMS for data and part usage, and mentor staff in lean six sigma practices while aligning with the plant's strategy and values.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience in an industrial environment.
• Undergraduate degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in reliability maintenance.
• Experience leading employees in a unionized facility.
• Experience with predictive maintenance methods (vibration analysis, lubrication, infrared, ultrasonic).
• Experience with lock out, tag out procedures.
• CMMS experience; SAP experience.
• Vibration/ oil analysis and thermography competency.
• Root Cause Analysis & Process Improvements Programs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe, clean and compliant work environment with safety as a priority.
• Train and develop employees to perform their jobs safely.
• Ensure reliability of plant machinery to meet production schedules.
• Develop and audit daily work schedules for craft teams.
• Develop and implement solutions to resolve machinery failures.
• Enter data and track part usage using SAP – MMS.
• Lead strategic maintenance plans and plant performance metrics.
• Drive predictive maintenance programs and PdM improvements.
