Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, physics or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in reliability analysis of complex products or systems, especially with optical and electronic technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with reliability test equipment, environmental stress methods, and data analysis.
• Proficiency in statistical analysis, reliability prediction tools, and design‑for‑reliability methodologies.
• Strong communication skills and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous environments with incomplete data.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead reliability strategies for emerging technologies with limited historical data and evolving architectures.
• Develop reliability analyses at the system, subsystem, and component levels, incorporating test campaigns and published results.
• Collaborate with design, test, and manufacturing teams to ensure reliability is integrated from the earliest concept stages.
• Create accelerated stress test plans and develop novel characterization methods for first‑of‑kind technologies.
• Communicate risks, findings, and recommendations clearly to engineering leadership and cross‑functional stakeholders.
